Founded in Guatemala
Coincaex is born in Guatemala City with the mission of democratizing access to cryptocurrencies in Central America. We started with Bitcoin and USDT exchange.
Regional Expansion
We opened operations in Honduras and El Salvador, responding to the growing demand for a reliable crypto platform in the region.
B-Transfer Launch
We introduced B-Transfer, our blockchain-based international remittance service, enabling fast transfers without banking intermediaries.
Crypto ATM with 5B Network in Guatemala
We integrated our platform with the 5B network, allowing withdrawal of Bitcoin, USDT and USDC as cash at more than 2,700 ATMs throughout Guatemala.
PSAD Registration with El Salvador's CNAD
On March 12, 2025, we obtained registration as a Digital Asset Service Provider (PSAD-0044) with El Salvador's National Digital Assets Commission (CNAD), under the Digital Asset Issuance Law (LEAD). A regulatory milestone that strengthens our operations across the region.
